TRX Suspension for Focused Workout


Several students have recently commented on their delight and experience with the varied TRX workouts they are using to compliment their Pilates Mat work in the studio. Particularly the challenge, flow and energy of the workout in the new schedule offers of TRX Mat Flow and TRX Strength4Group.  Sheri, a 2x week private/semi-private student sent a text after her first Saturday AM class, "I really liked the TRX Strength4Group class. It was different and challenging and seems like a really nice compliment to my regular reformer work."

TRX Freestyle


I hate to tell you because some of you will think I am a wild woman (well maybe a little of that assumption would be quite true) but I love this video workout demonstrating the freestyle use of the TRX.  It actually mirrors many of the moves I use in my own personal workout on a weekly basis; minus of course the pullups.   My workout, however, is preceded by a 20-minute Pilates sequence (Hundreds thru the Teaser). In 90 minutes I am done with the workout, inclusive of 30 minutes of cardio using the spin bike, elliptical or running on the treadmill with my Kangoo Jumps.  I am completely...

Do Nothing?!


It is pretty amazing. The damage we can do to ourselves without even being present in the process. I work extremely hard at helping other people work hard on themselves. I pride myself on the consistent, hard work I do to my own body. I admonish others to work to their own limits and set a mean example of exactly that in my own work.     Whether it be strength training in the gym, Pilates in the studio, or my feeble attempts at following my yoga instructor, I try to work with high quality, excellent form and love pushing myself to that end to achieve the best results for the time...
