Still Rebounding on Kangoo Jumps

Today while running in the 60 degrees we are experiencing two days prior to Christmas, three (3) people actually jumped up and down in front of me (I wear earphones and generally ignore passersby) to get my attention and ask where and what I was wearing. So, I guess in addition to the Green Juice I have been drinking and blogging about and the revamped TRX workouts being featured on my revamped YouTube page, I'd better add back the links for my only running wear. Yes, Kangoo Jumps for cardio/aerobic fitness.

Arms & Food

I remember the first time I saw those tight, strong arms on Linda Hamilton in the first Terminator movie.  Way back in the day....circa 1991.  They were fierce and powerful.  I wanted them.

Final Week – Doing Something Every Day

Observations Massive amounts of energy (this IS a problem for some people, I might add) Fewer aches and pains Much better rest and sleep at night Would like to say clearer thinking, but not sure of that   Have I lost any weight?  Who knows?!  I don't really care.  Everything I slink my butt into fits perfectly and at the gentle age of 54, I am "feeling good."  So I write this post just two weeks into the second month's round, where I have continued the work and already clocked:   19 workouts 26 hours of physical activity 10.5 calories used   So...

Third Week – Doing Something Everyday

My third week of conscious movement and action shows a sum total of 29 active workouts clocking over 32 hours and 26 minutes of activity and approximately 10K calories used in the process for the month-to-date.  I have been keeping a daily journal of each activity and using the application on my Android phone to tally the calories used, exertion level for a weekly report.   Two days of rest are noted, May 7 and May 15 and a range of cross-training activities throughout the period. The highest usage of calories was an 1.5 hour road bike ride during the first week (735 calories) followed...

30 Days of Something!

Maintenance is a never ending, on-going process of continual activity and work.  To maintain a healthy smile and pleasant conversation with people, we brush and floss our teeth daily.  To maintain the life of our automobiles, we regularly get the oil changed and make sure the plugs are lubricated and tires rotated.  Nails are filed and polished weekly, lawns are cut and manicured weekly, so why is it such a difficult thing to understand and actualize the maintenance of the body with a daily regimen?   I know, its a rhetorical question.  The body maintenance work is hard, requires...
