Moving it Thru the Fall and Beyond

I cannot stress enough to both male and female clients the need for consistency to keep the muscle strong, fat at bay and the body feeling lithe, limber and fluid.  
 
To burn fat, keep in mind that your workouts MUST be frequent. Particularly so as the weather gets cooler. It is more important to make the frequency of exercise occur during the week, rather than focusing on a single workout. Commitment to a regular movement routine every day is much more powerful and effective than a once-a-week, 60-minute routine. 
 
Keep it moving and flowing. For example, adding a pushup, plank and squat series in between a 15-minute interval of an aerobic, cardiovascular workout will help your muscles burn the fat calories. Additionally, maintaining muscle mass facilitates keeping your metabolism “UP” and maintaining a higher fat-burning rate. 
 
The TRX Flow workouts I use (and my students love) add this kind of balance, challenge, strength and cardiovascular work that could keep your body strong, flexibile and fluid thru the entire winter. 
 
Consistency throughout the fall will keep you feeling swim-suit ready when the spring arrives.
